Normally, we are not thinking so much about where our colleagues and friends are from, but in these times we are all affected by the terrible situation in Ukraine.
Donation to Ukraine
We have decided to donate Sleeping Kits to the many Ukrainians who are fleeing the war. Together with EDFA (European Down and Feather Association) and its partner our kits will be distributed to the Ukrainian refugee centers in Poland. We have received support and backing for the project from both our carrier (LEMAN) as well as our supplier of printed matter (InPrint).
Tuesday in week 11 we have packed and prepared 320 Sleeping Kits at our warehouse in Hammelev. The kits include down toppers that can be used both as mattresses and duvets, as well as bed linens in 100% cotton. Pale Pink has been chosen based on the meaning of the color, which can be described as:
The color pink represents care, compassion and love. The pink color stands for unconditional love and understanding and is associated with giving and receiving care. On all the packaging we have included a small greeting to the receiver in English and Ukrainian.
